You need

  • A window or yard with a view of the sky
  • Paper and a pencil

Let's play

  1. On a clear evening, find the moon together.
  2. Draw its shape: a thin smile, a half circle or a full round ball?
  3. Look again in two or three nights and draw it again.
  4. Line up your drawings. How did the moon change?
Grown-up tip: Sometimes you can see the moon in the daytime too. Look for it in the morning!
