You need

  • A park, yard or woods
  • Binoculars made from two toilet paper tubes (optional)

Let's play

  1. Go looking for homes, not animals: nests, holes, webs, anthills, hives.
  2. Look up in trees, down on the ground and under leaves.
  3. Look, don’t touch, and never disturb a home.
  4. Guess who lives in each one.
Grown-up tip: Spider webs sparkle best in the early morning dew.
