Thank You, Helpers!

Benny Bear woke up with a happy idea. "Today I will say thank you to all the helpers in our town!"

First he met the mail carrier, carrying a big bag. "Thank you for bringing our letters," said Benny. The mail carrier smiled and handed him a postcard from Grandma.

At the library, the librarian helped Benny find a book about bees. "Thank you for helping me find stories," said Benny.

On the corner, a crossing guard held up a stop sign so Benny could cross safely. "Thank you for keeping us safe!"

At the fire station, the firefighters were washing their big red truck. Benny waved. "Thank you for being brave!" The firefighters let him ring the bell. Ding, ding!

At the farm stand, the farmer gave Benny a shiny apple. "Thank you for growing our food," said Benny.

When Benny got home, his grown-up was making dinner. Benny gave them a great big hug. "And thank you for taking care of me. You are a helper too!"
