Five Little Ladybugs
Ages 2–3Counting1 minute read
Five little ladybugs sat on a leaf. They had red backs and black spots, and they were all good friends.
One flew off to visit a flower. Bzzz! Now there are FOUR.
One flew off to nap in the grass. Bzzz! Now there are THREE.
One flew off to find a snack. Bzzz! Now there are TWO.
One flew off to say hello to the sun. Bzzz! Now there is ONE.
The last little ladybug looked around. "It is quiet," she said. "I miss my friends."
Then — bzzz, bzzz, bzzz, bzzz! — back they came, one, two, three, four! Now there are FIVE little ladybugs again, all together on the leaf.
