LittleFunKids — Privacy Policy

NextOne Labs · Last updated October 17, 2026

In short: No ads, ever, and no advertising ID. The Android app uses Google Firebase to count which activities are used and to report crashes, without names or anything that identifies your child, and a grown-up can turn this off. Without an account, your child's progress stays on your device. If a grown-up chooses to sign in to sync across devices (part of LittleFun Plus), we keep the family's progress and settings with that account, and nothing else. Children never sign in, and their drawings never leave the device.

Who we are

LittleFunKids is made by NextOne Labs for children aged about 2 to 8. It is designed to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK GDPR and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and with Google Play's Families policies and the App Store's Kids Category rules.

Without an account (the default)

The app does not ask for, store on our servers, or share any personal information such as names or contact details. It does not use the advertising ID, location, the camera, the microphone or contacts. Your child's things are kept in the app's private storage on the device (the Android app also sends the pseudonymous usage and crash information described under Usage and crash information):

If Android backup or iCloud Backup is turned on, your device may include this in your own Google or iCloud backup so a new device keeps your child's progress. We never receive it. You can erase a child's progress in the app under Grown-ups → Reset progress, remove a child under Grown-ups → Children, or uninstall the app.

With a family account (optional)

A grown-up can sign in under Grown-ups → Sync across devices, behind a grown-ups-only check, with Google or Apple. Children are never asked to sign in or to give any information. When you sign in:

This data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes it only on our behalf. We use it only to run sync. We never sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for profiling.

Deleting your account: in the app, Grown-ups → Sync across devices → Delete account deletes the account and everything stored with it from our servers at once. Our hosting provider keeps a short restore history of the database for emergencies; deleted data drops out of it within 30 days and is never restored. If you no longer have the app, email us from the account's email address and we will delete it. Signing out keeps a copy on the device and stops syncing. If LittleFun Plus ends, nothing is deleted; syncing pauses until Plus is back. Sessions on devices that are not used for 400 days are removed automatically.

Your rights

You can see your family's data in the app, correct it (for example a child's name), and delete it at any time as described above. Parents can contact us about their child's information at the address below.

Usage and crash information (Android app)

The Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services from Google, to understand which activities are used and to find and fix crashes. They are set up for a children's app under Google Play's Families policy.

The iPhone and iPad app does not include Firebase or any other analytics.

Read-aloud voice

Letters, words and cheers are spoken with your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. The app only sends it short fixed phrases such as "A is for apple"; it never records or listens.

Purchases

LittleFun Plus is sold through Google Play on Android and through Apple on iPhone and iPad. Google or Apple handles the payment and your account details under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your payment information. Purchases and outside links are behind a grown-ups-only check.

Advertising and third parties

There are no ads, ever: no advertising of any kind, no advertising ID and no ad personalization. Besides our own sync server (only for signed-in families), the app talks to Google Play Billing or Apple's App Store for purchases, to Google's or Apple's sign-in when a grown-up chooses to sign in, and, in the Android app only, to Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics as described above.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
